Our Discipleship Pathway

We believe that we are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ that transform the world.  God grows us when we intentionally Worship, Serve, Pray, Witness, and Give.  We call this The Discipleship Pathway. You will notice that even this website reflects this Discipleship Pathway. 

The United Methodist Church grew out of a movement of small group meetings. These meetings were an incubator for new Christians excited to grow in their faith. Small groups are still an essential part of being Methodist today. Below you will find small groups ready to help you learn and grow on your discipleship journey.

 Small Groups for Everyone

Jr. Youth
Prek-5th grade

Jr. Youth have an activity once a month. These activities are designed to connect our kids and provide a chance for them to invite their friends. They do things like arts and crafts, movies, and pizza parties. They also participate in family and churchwide service projects.

Youth 
6-12 grade

Our Youth group follows our Discipleship Pathway in scheduling their activities. They learn together every Sunday in Sunday School and participate in worship with their gifts. They have a fun activity focused on connection and welcome once a month. They also have a service opportunity once a month. Together, these opportunities help them with Witness, Worship, Service, Prayer, and Generosity.

The Whole Family
Families come in all shapes and sizes.  We provide an opportunity for families to connect with other families through events big and small. Come by yourself, or bring some of your favorite people with you as we build community.

Adults Only
We have several small groups, some focused on learning together, some on serving together, and others on connecting with others. Check out the flyers below for some of our newest groups. For a complete list, look at the graphic above.

Every year, we connect with other United Methodist Churches throughout the state. These are our reflections on this year's gathering. 

UMC Camp 2025

In 2025, we helped 21 kids and teens with camp scholarships. Hear how our kids and teens were transformed this summer through Camp Lakewood, Camp Adventure, and Camp Epworth.

Hot Faith Interviews

In 2023, our Youth Sunday School was all about sharing our faith stories. Adults from our congregation came in and shared their faith in a "Hot Ones" style of interview. The kids took up the challenge, too.
